Oral presentation

Regular oral presentations will be given 20 minutes, including time for questions, answers, and discussion. Please try to leave at least 5 minutes for such communications. A laptop PC (OS: Windows 7) equipped with Microsoft Powerpoint 2010 will be prepared on the platform for presenters, along with a laser pointer. If you want to use a Macintosh computer, you will have to bring yours. Please bring your USB memory stick including your presentation in powerpoint format to the conference room at latest 30 minutes before the session on the day of your talk. We recommend sending us your file by e-mail (gsp_symp_office@ml.affrc.go.jp) before your travel.

Message from the organizers
For oral presentations, we would like to ask you to pay much attention to the relevancy to the symposium theme and objectives. We prefer to learn your ideas and perspectives on the symposium theme. For example, a review of your previous works on the topic will be more suitable than an introduction of single new study. We do not mind at all any overlap with your talks at any past conferences, symposia, and workshops. Your frank opinions and critiques on the outputs from our Stage-I activities will also be much appreciated.
Poster presentation

The recommended poster size is A0 (height: 1,189 mm; width: 841 mm). A board and some pins will be prepared for each poster. You may put your poster on the board at any time before the poster session. We will request poster presenters to e-mail a PDF copy of their posters prior to the meeting or on site.
